Overview
As the Lead UI Designer, I led the full UX/UI redesign across 200+ screens and multiple product flows, covering product audit, visual direction, UX/UI design, design handoff, development support, testing, and release.
The project focused on transforming a complex medical product into a clear, intuitive, and visually cohesive experience, while establishing a distinctive visual language that could scale across the product.
Working across a complex and highly regulated domain also required balancing usability, information density, visual communication, and product credibility - skills that translate across different industries and product types.
Challenge
The existing product had inconsistent UI patterns, complex user flows, unclear navigation, and a high cognitive load across medical and longevity-related content.
The challenge was to simplify the experience without oversimplifying the complexity of the healthcare domain, while building a visual language that felt both credible and premium.
Solution
I started with a deep Discovery and research phase, combining product audits, stakeholder workshops, user interviews, and conversations with both patients and medical staff.
The research helped identify the main UX/UI gaps and define where the product needed to become simpler, more structured, and more useful for long-term health management.
I then redesigned the core UX flows and established a new visual direction and scalable design system. Multiple visual concepts were explored and reviewed directly with stakeholders before selecting the final direction.
A major part of the redesign was improving the way complex health information was structured — including the Health Timeline, health metrics, questionnaires, medical records, appointments, and patient progress.
I also designed and refined the connected B2B clinic portal, creating a consistent experience between the patient app and the tools used by doctors and clinic staff.
